Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actress
from the US. She is best known for her roles in American daytime television, as
well as episodic guest appearances and made-for-television films. Sofer
received an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her character Lois Cerullo on the
soap show General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role in the CBS soap
opera The Bold and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was born in Arcadia,
California, the daughter of Susan Sofer, a psychology professor as well as
Martin Sofer, a Conservative rabbi. Her family later relocated to Pittsburgh in
Pennsylvania. She then moved together with her father David, to Teaneck, New
Jersey in 1970. They resided in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years
old. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director
of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Then, she went to the Frisch School in Paramus,
New Jersey, which is co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer
resided in North Bergen, New Jersey which was where her father served as the
synagogue's Rabbi Temple Beth El. She completed her studies at North Bergen
High School, then attended classes at Montclair State College. Sofer was Lois
Marie Cerullo for the first time on General Hospital. Her first appearance came
in 1993, as a band manager. Her first major part was that of Rocky McKenzie on
the daytime soap show Loving (1988-91). The most famous of her roles is Lois
Cerullo, a nurse on General Hospital from December 15, 1993 to September 24 the
24th of September, 1996. She later returned as a guest star (February 7-17,
1997; September 30 September 30 - October 2 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime
Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress on the Drama Series for her
portrayal as Lois. Sofer became a part of CBS's soap opera The Bold and the
Beautiful as Quinn Fuller, a role she had just created. The first episode aired
in July 2013. Sofer has appeared on several high-profile prime time television
series as a guest star/supporting cast member rolesincluding Seinfeld, Melrose
Place, The Chronicle, Ed, Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost Whisperer,
24, NCIS, and Two and a Half Men.
