Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. The girl is of French Canadian, German and Irish heritage. Columbia University was her graduation with a double major in economics as well as math. She played the lead character Kiera Cameron as a police officer in the science fiction film Continuum (2012). She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. The first time she auditioned for a role was for a hostess in a restaurant in Sex and the City (1998). She was engaged to Michael Kershaw, a real estate developer, on the night of December 30th 2013. She is naturally blonde.
