Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on 24 March 1974. Hannigan is an American actress and host on the television. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she won an award called the People's Choice Award (2009), and Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us is a show that has been on the air since 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan was born to Emilie (Posner) Haas and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan was Hannigan's sole son. Hannigan's mom is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. When she was 11 , she relocated to Hollywood with her mother. When she was in Santa Barbara, her father was an agent for casting. She auditioned. Following high school, she attended California State University Northridge. In Northridge, she was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and she earned a psychology diploma. Hannigan appeared in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars, and was later her co-star on Buffy. Her first TV show role was in 1989 when she was made an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager when was an infantsitter of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was then chosen to be the character Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hannigan was rewarded with famed national spotlight in 1997. She also babysat Bob Saget's kids on the series How I Met Your Mom. Angel allowed her to reprise Willow's character for a few episodes.
