Rita Ora Bio

Rita Ora (British singer-songwriter) is her name. Rita Sahatciu Ora was a British singer-songwriter and singer who was born to Vera Bajraktari and Besnik Sahatciu in Pristina, Kosovo in 1990. Besim Sahatciu is the granddaughter of her mother. At the age of one, her family made the decision to move to the United Kingdom. She was raised in West London and attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School in Earls Court, following which she graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School and afterward, St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing at an early stage of her life. In 2004, she appeared on the British movie Spivs. She was a contestant on Eurovision Your Country is in need of You on BBC One to be the British contestant in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest but , later on, decided to withdraw from the contest after a few shows because she didn't feel prepared. Ora's first music release was in 2007, when she featured in Craig David's track "Awkward" as well as in 2008 with "Where is Your Love" with Tinchy Stryder. In addition, she appeared in the music videos. Ora began to sing in bars around London. A few days after, Ora flew to New York to meet Jay-Z, an A&R inform Roc Nation about Ora. Ora was featured in Jay-Z's video from 2009 for "Young Forever" as well as "Over" from Drake. Jay-Z was awestruck by Ora and quietly signed her up with Roc Nation. She was featured in a commercial featuring Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. Her father Besnik was a proprietor of a pub and she began her singing performances from the same bar. Gwen Stefani was her major influence. Her father was a pub owner and she began her singing career from the same pub. Friends with Kate Moss, and Ed Sheeran.
