Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actress best famous for her performance in 24 and the voice acting that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance during her youth and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she graduated in 1999. Wersching's acting career started with an appearance as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to star on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's daytime soap show General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. She has also performed in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24 Wersching was a guest on several shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which stars the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was a regular on the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was revealed in the story trailer that was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would be playing the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
