Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18, 1982. While at high school, Chopra won the Miss India pageant, and she soon followed it by taking the 2000 Miss World pageant as well. After that international victory, Chopra became a star in Bollywood and turned her attention to film. She made a splash on American television with the FBI drama Quantico, which aired between 2015 and 2018 and became a major news item with her marriage to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. Her first Bollywood film, The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. That same year she appeared in Andaaz, and this began a lengthy string of films, including Plan, Kismat, Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Aitrazz which was awe-inspiring and all of them released in 2004. Although most of these films did poorly at the box at the box office, Chopra found success with the romantic comedy Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. At the age of 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it that very year with Jeet the Born to Win. Chopra declared that she was unhappy with her debut. "I wanted to quit the world of entertainment after I'd done it!" I didn't know the meaning behind what I was doing." The actor and actress Nick Jonas went public with their relationship in the summer of 2018. The news of their engagement was announced in July. According to reports, Jonas proposed to Chopra on Chopra's 36th birthday. They were married in a multi-day extravagant affair that started on the 1st of December 2018.
