Mila Kunis Bio

Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis, was born in Chernivtsi Ukraine on the 14th of August, 1982. When she was seven years old, Kunis immigrated to the United States with her parents, Mark and Elvira, along with her elder brother, Michael, and eventually moved to Los Angeles. It was a hard beginning for the Kunis families, who came to their new home having only $250. Kunis parents decided to quit their careers to relocate and were determined to give their children a better life. Mark, a former mechanical engineer, quickly found work as a cab driver, and Elvira, who had taught Physics in Ukraine and later became the manager of a pharmacy. Kunis acknowledged that he did not understand American culture at first. I didn't get the American culture. I was not conversant in the language. The first sentence in my college application essay was "Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of seven". It was a very difficult experience to move to the States. It wasn't a difficult transition. Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), and Elvira. An older brother is hers. Her mother is a teacher of physics and manages a pharmacy. Her father, who is a mechanical engineer by trade, doubles as driver for taxis. When she was 7 years old, old, her family moved to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary School was where she went to school. When she was nine she began taking acting lessons. She auditioned for a few commercials, and made her debut in her first television role on 'Days of Our Lives' in 1994.She played minor roles as a young actor on "Honey, We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with a Muscle' and the Angelina Jolie's movie "Gia". In 1998, she landed her first big role as 'Jackie in the popular sitcom 'That '70s show'.After rave reviews about her performance in the role of 'Jackie', she was cast in the character of 'Meg' Griffin' in the animated sitcom "Family Guy".
