Tauheed Epps, also known as 2 Chainz, is a hip rapper and hip America. Georgia born, he founded the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle together with a high-school friend. The group's debut album, 'Supply and Demand It was a mixed success. Epps then released "Based on the T.R.U." Story', his debut studio album. It became a massive hit, and debuted at the top of the charts at 1 on the US Billboard 200. Within its first week, it sold 147,000 copies! After the album's release, there was no turning back. He became famous as one of America's most well-known rappers. He has been nominated for six Grammy Awards, the most recent of them was for his hit song "No Problem". When his bag with marijuana and promethazine was discovered inside his luggage on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, he was arrested. However, his run-in with the law hasn't affected his popularity. His fourth and latest studio album 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' released in June 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story', 2 Chainz's debut studio album could be considered to be his debut major album and also his most successful. The album was an enormous hit and climbed to the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The album also sold 147,000 copies within a few weeks. The album was sold out to 623,000 in one year. The album featured smash singles like "No Lie' and 'Birthday Song. I'm Different was nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. The reviews for the album were mixed. 2 Chainz married Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple has three children, Heaven and Harmony. He has a very accomplished career, however, he is also known for his mistakes with the law. He was arrested several times for possession of drugs.
